Child Behavior Specialist

Every parent desires (and deserves!) a harmonious relationship with their child, but the path isn't always clear. I'm Emry Kettle, and my mission is to guide you through the complexities of parenting with empathy and expertise.

Understanding the underlying factors of a child's behavior is not only the thing I'm probably best at in the world (besides making a dynamite veggie lasagna), it's paramount to my work. Sure, each kid is different and unique and I will die on that hill. However, behavior patterns don't lie.

Let me be the behavioral specialist, so you can keep being the best at being you, for your family.

Parenting Isn’t Meant to Be Done Alone

There’s a reason the saying “it takes a village” is so well-known. But what if your village isn’t nearby? Or safe? Or simply doesn’t have the tools to help you navigate the challenges you’re facing?

That’s where I come in.

For nearly two decades, I’ve combined my expertise as a child behavior specialist with real-world experience helping parents move through high-stress situations with confidence. Whatever you’re going through—it’s not too much, too embarrassing, or too scary for me.

Why This Work Matters to Me

I had a terrible childhood. My parents, shaped by their own trauma, had very little to give me, and after their divorce, I was left to fend for myself emotionally. I know firsthand what it’s like to grow up without the support you need—and that’s exactly why I do this work.

I’m dedicated to helping parents who want to break generational cycles and create something better for their kids.

How I Got Here

My journey started in high school when I fell in love with early childhood education. That passion led me to a degree in Early Childhood Development, a field that sits right between teaching and therapy. From there, I spent years:

  • Providing childcare for dozens of families, applying behavioral strategies and seeing firsthand what worked.

  • Teaching emotional intelligence lessons to kids of all ages, from summer camps to after-school programs.

  • Working in a school district with neurodivergent and disabled young adults, where I deepened my understanding of neurodivergence and the systemic gaps in support.

  • Collaborating with parents, teachers, and therapists to create consistent, compassionate support plans—so kids aren’t caught in the middle.

As a neurodivergent person myself (diagnosed with ADHD at 11), I thought I understood how brains like mine worked—until I saw up close just how misunderstood, unsupported, and underserved so many neurodivergent kids and families are. That changed everything.

I even moved across the world to support a child falling through the cracks of a broken system. With the right advocacy, we got him the care he needed—and he’s thriving.

Now, This Is My Work.

One family at a time, I help parents find their footing, build strong relationships, and create a parenting approach that truly works for their unique child.

The work is gritty, healing, intense, and breathtaking. And honestly?

I’m just getting started.

My Core Values

Naming my core values isn’t just about words—it’s about intention. These values guide every interaction, every strategy, and every piece of support I offer, ensuring that parents and children feel seen, respected, and truly supported.

Anti-Childism

Children deserve to be treated with the same respect as adults. Their feelings, needs, and autonomy matter.

Empowerment Through Education

When parents have the right tools and knowledge, they can confidently navigate challenges and create positive change.

Compassionate Understanding

Every family is unique. My approach is rooted in empathy, meeting you where you are without judgment.

Inclusivity & Respect

All families, backgrounds, and identities are honored here. Parenting support should feel safe and affirming for everyone.

Integrity & Transparency

I believe in honesty, clear communication, and offering support that actually works—not quick fixes or gimmicks.
